XBOX whats the difference with the gb memory?

right. mines on the fritz and if it cant be fixed may have to get a new one but cant see the benefit of the 4gb model as it appears to hold 16gb less than my poorly 20gb pro model (?)

is this right? cant afford a 250gb model ...has the amount of storage been compressed so you can get more onto a 4gb ? or what?

The 4gb one is indeed 16gb less in storage terms, and is pretty much useless. You should grab a slim, 250gb in one of them and they're a wee bit sexy to boot.

almost wish i'd not got me bike and saved me wifes vouchers for that instead ! damn this impatience of mine ! hope my old fella can be saved ...before the extended warranty runs out.
