Three from Ulises Farinas - The New Lieutenants of Heavy Metal with Joe Casey at Image Comics, a Gamma mini-series at Dark Horse and Guardian Force Design Manual (a Gamma tie-in book) at Lion Forge. The Gamma series from Dark Horse Presents is one of my all-time favorites so really looking forward to the last two.

As guilty as he was with decompression, Ellis did some neat one-shots with Avatar, like Crecy and some of the Apparat books.

I wonder what the story is DC's ownership rights these days - I can't imagine many Vertigo titles were creator owned.

Devoured Voice of the Whirlwind by Walter Jon Williams, going to start Captain Alatriste before reading another early novel by Walter Jon Williams, Hardwired.

Seen a few old Vertigo titles popping up with different publishers - War Stories by Garth Ennis to complete the tpbs put out by Avatar, Seekers into the Mystery & World Without End by Dover Publications and The Other Half and User to come from Image Comics.

Anyone else think the robot was channeling Sheldon Cooper?

I did a bit too.

When it came to the names of the planets in the film -
did I miss the name of the planet where Darth Vader lived or was it not shown?
General / Re: Slaine - TIME KILLER

Wasn't it Bryan Talbot who introduced Pat Mills to Fabry's artwork?

I was four years old when read I the first part of Time Killer in The Best of 2000AD Monthly No. 33 back in June 1988 - the first time I can clearly remember reading 2000AD, so a big life-changing moment!
