Thrill-power Catch up Reccomendations
« on: 16 September, 2010, 12:34:56 PM »
Hive mind,

Are there any TPBs out there you would recommend to catch up on the last 2 years of thrill-power?  And has there been anything that has stood out particularly that I should try and pick up?

Thanks you mighty hive mind.

The last couple of years have been great for Thrill-power so... them all (stories I might not... recommend too highly haven't been collected).

Defoe, Stickleback, Kingdom, Zombo, etc. all good.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Unfortunately, Cradlegrave hasn't been collected. If it ever is, pitch a tent outside your comic shop.  And pretty much every 2000ad Judge Dredd story from the last 2 years.

Definitely get the Stickleback and Kingdom books.  They are wonderful.

For me it would be Stickleback and the latest Dredd; Tour of Duty

Cracking stuff.
An old-school, no-bullshit, boys-own action/adventure comic reminiscent of the 2000ads and Eagles and Warlords and Battles and other glorious black-and-white comics that were so, so cool in the 70's and 80's - Buy the hardback Christmas Annual!
