I used to have the Land Raider from the Cursed Earth episodes of JD, and it got me thinking back to fave. toys as a kid, my top five are:

1. Big Trak
2. Pocket Scramble
3. Action Man
4. Millenium Falcon
5. Spectrum 48k

Anyone think of any more wonderful, but now defunct toys from the past?

 nutshell: Bug Hunters, Computer and Video Games, early 80's, Artist: Jerry Paris - anyone got any idea if there is artwork on the web to have a gader at, or the collected Trident edition kicking around the attic they want to sell.

Just read this and, well what can I say but... pants.

Sorry to any Siddah fans, but it just doesn't float my boat, Davis artwork is very good as per, but the whole dialogue of Siddah talking to himself about his past, the tired father prospective son in law jokes and the bad guy is really limp. I feel like I've just gone back in time to an episode from Crisis.

I remember a Future Shock where the guy was experimented on and disappeared. he was actually living extremely fast and all the people around him were like shadows. Subsequently he could chop down buildings and such and the story ended where he reappeared minutes later, and old man, and just sat there and chuckled as the building he was in collapsed.

Would any one be interested in a collected book of Future shocks?

Taken. What's everyone reckon to it then... I don't think it's half bad if not a bit rushed... but then again I thought Signs was the best film of all time and everyone I've spoken too didne' like it much... superb ending to the last episode, but I'm suffering (say in Yoda voice) from withdrawl due to f'in snooker and BBC Three (which is BBC Choice with a new name!)

Also is it me or is there some alien type fever going on at the moment, what with Taken, Signs and Dreamcatcher due out soon are the yanks preparing us for the invasion or is it some plot to hide a darker truth, like Michael Jackson really is like he is and it's all not true...??

Remember this from the Eagle comic back in the 80's. A young boy gets zapped into his Commodore 64 and has to fight through a series of US Gold games in order to rescue his friend who had lost and been swallowed up by the computer. Blatant product placement a la Havok, Desert Strike etc. but good fun if you were 12.

Any chance of rebellion doing this... chortle.

Mark Wilkinson, who illustrated the famous Hershey Parody of silence of the Lambs? I was a big fan and used to appreciate his work on the album covers of Marillion, did he move into comics? Did he ever do any strips?
