2000 odd comments on the Onion AV Club board so proably more informed stuff there although a look through the first two pages revealed only that Denny's waitresses are usually less actractive than the actress used here.

One snippet was [spoiler]that Walt was 50 in the pilot and writing 52 in bacon and claiming it was his birthday here - given the series to date have covered less than a year this was a glimpse into the far future when Walt has a fake ID and presumably a score to settle with the M60. Good to see customer loyalty - it's the same man who sold him his 38 snub last season![/spoiler]

I love that it's full of internal rhymes. Like mirrors & echoes. As a songwriter, that floats for me. Great writing.
