Can anyone suggest a good place to start looking for an mpeg?  I have a very specific bit of film I'm trying to find:

- Between 30 seconds and one minute long.
- A train (preferably a steam train) coming directly towards the camera.
- Either in black and white/sepia, or able to be altered in that way.

Since it's for a public performance, I'd prefer it to be out of copyright, though it's not essential.

Many, many thanks to anyone who can help.

At Alta Vista you can do a video search.

One of the first theatrical films was of course a steam train pulling into a station, perhaps that's the one you want?

Fantastic, thanks very much to both of you!

I have found the exact clip I want, so no more replies necessary.

It never ceases to amaze me how much the people on this board know.
