Following the sneak peak of the next Meg cover which suggests an old foe of Dredd is back on the loose I have used my amazing powers of taking things literally to guess who it is.

I would like to speculate that the Gordon Rennie and Carl Critchlow strip 'Burned Out!' features the return of Dark Judge Fire.

As far as I can remember he's been sealed in Boing since the Big Nec and don't you need Oxygen to have fire? Hence the tag line in the most recent Meg which says 'Is this the end of the line for...?' I believe is referring to Fire.

Watch me be wrong.

Vox-pop and creative clip-selection can produce that level of horror in any country in the world, Art, so I wouldn't be too disheartened.  Of course, not every country is a belicose superpower with a mumbling chimp for a figurehead...

Floyd-the-k

Alas I can't see the clip, but I gather from the comments that it's vox pop Americans who think Australia is Iran, or that we harbor terrorists or something.
No matter, tomorrow I collect my EA Falcon Wagon! Let the terrorists (and everybody else) beware!http://www.geocities.com/falconfacts/pics/eaphotos/ea3.jpg">

Apparently, some poor fool also thought you were living in France.

Floyd-the-k

well our super-xenophobic government has taken to deporting its' own citizens, so I may well be living in France one of these days,

yours trying not to look ethnic

I was a fan of weird dude who claimed that Canada was a huge threat to US security.
Nobody warned me I would be so awesome.

Floyd-the-k

I've finally seen it.  It's from a quite funny Australian news parody show called 'CNNN'.  There are Americans that ignorant; I met a guy in New York who wondered which part of the US Australia was in. Mind you, there are some pretty ignorant Aussies toohttp://www.abc.net.au/cnnnn/news/s968502.htm">

Tu-plang

Oh, from CNNNN? Is that the 'Which countries are on the Axis of Evil' vox pop.  "Well, I know Germany is one of 'em."

They did another great one where one of the guys convinced everyone he was Australian PM John Howard.
