Last week I put my prog 2 up for sale.

While browsing tonight I find another one on there listed, at first glance, almost exactly the same.

For some reason it's annoyed me.

Does this happen much?

Bizarre. eBay plagiarism...
Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

"Future wife forces sale"

It'll all end in tears....

Still ?225 for yours and still 3 days to go. Nice one.

Anyone got any idea what No1 with spinner goes for thee days?

Devons Daddy

good money,

i have seen the space spinner alone going well over the hundred mark.

plenty of prog 1 out there but the space spinner is far less frequent.
i would suggest its worth at least a copy of the malaysian grand Prix F1 programme 2005
(but you will get one of them anyway so perhaps not :~) )

but if you dont really need to sell it right now, may be worth hanging on too.given how it seems to be going up in value.
I AM VERY BUSY!
PJ Maybe and I use the same dictionary, live with it.

NO 2000ad no life!

I had someone who was selling an SD novel cut and paste my entire review od the book from the 2000adreview site as their item description.
That pissed me off a bit.

Wake

You can report him if you like.

Thanks Wake, I might just do that.

"I had someone who was selling an SD novel cut and paste my entire review od the book from the 2000adreview site as their item description."

I remember that. That was a bit cheeky rac - did you ever report him?

Richmond Clements

Nah, didn't see the point. But I did send him a rather cheeky e-mail though.

Byron Virgo

What did you say? Something rude and abrupt, yet bitingly witty, I hope?

Richmond Clements

Can't remember exactly, but I thanked him for recognising my work as worthy of his using it, or something like that.

Well I reported him and this was te reply

"Hello,

Thank you for writing eBay regarding the unauthorized use of your text
or images by another eBay user.

We have reviewed your listing and the listing that you reported. These
listings do not appear to be substantially similar, and, accordingly,
do
not violate eBay's image and text theft policy. If you have already
contacted this member, it is possible that he or she has already
removed
the objectionable material.

If you still feel that these listings are substantially similar and do
violate eBay policy, please respond to this email with specific
examples
demonstrating that this seller is using your material without your
permission.

If you haven't already contacted the seller that you are reporting, we
encourage you to do so before responding to this email. We have found
that many people are unaware that using images or text that they have
found on eBay or other sites on the Internet is a violation of eBay
policy. Many of them will change their listings when contacted by the
owner of the material."

So there you go. I'm just being petty.
