As someone who has come fairly recently to collecting original art, i find it very interesting that back in the day places like Forbidden Planet, as well as others - http://www.clandestinecritic.co.uk/2008/07/comic-book-shops-comic-showcase-rip.html would sell original art. Haha! A well-spent £35 on a trip to London with my older brother Mark eons ago for the first one, James. Bless him, he even came with me up to 2000ad's offices at King's Reach Tower to collect my sad and rejected art samples. I couldn't have been more than 15 at the time...?
