General / Is 2000AD about to be drowned?
23 July, 2007, 07:20:56 PM
Admittedly I have no idea how close the Rebellion offices are to the River Thames in Oxford but it would be a huge disaster if all the old Tooth artwork in the 'Vaults' got flood damaged.

Not to mention whether it'd disrupt production of the prog.

Or am I worrying for nothing?

Off Topic / Showing off(art)
04 February, 2005, 05:31:05 AM
Just wanted to show off an illustration I did for a gaming company which is my first attempt at digital colouring/painting.Looking forward to doing some more like this and refining my technique.

If anyone's interested in seeing the larger versions, including one in colour, feel free to have a gander at my LJ.Thought that'd be better than posting larger files on here :)

Off Topic / Dragonmeet
30 November, 2004, 03:31:08 AM
Seeing there's a load of RPG fans amongst the boarders I thought I'd post this and see if anyone is going to Dragonmeet.
I'm going to be there as a guest of Ragged Angel Ltd and it's my first RPG convention so it could be..interesting.
And to keep it vaguely 2000AD-here's some info from the Dragonmeet website;

Mongoose Demos

Paritcipation games of Gangs of Mega City One will also be running all day. The latest miniatures game from Mongoose Publishing is due out in December. Set in the deadly streets of Mega-City One, this skirmish game pits criminal gangs against each other in brutal turf wars. Has your gang got the ability to rise to the top against the other perps of the city?

Off Topic / Carson City art
05 March, 2003, 05:58:04 AM
This is for some of you guys who have been asking after this in the chatroom and also for you to give an opinion of the art.Would you buy a comic with art like this in it?Can you grasp what is happening on the page?Any other opinions?
Line weight on this image is a big chunkier than the actual page.

Just to clarify, this isn't anything to do with 2000AD.I'm just abusing the board for peoples feedback:)

Thanks!
