I work for a charity, and we've just had this original cover artwork donated by a friend of the artist - thought you might appreciate it!

I've always loved those detailed covers where you can play "name the character". Lots to look at!

Wow that's so good, a great mix of obscure characters from that era too: so often these types of covers are the usual suspects only.  I'd fancy that on my wall if I had the dosh!

Anyone know what happened to that...came off sale before the end of  the auction by the look of it..?

Contacted the charity shop just after the item vanished. They replied to say the artist had contacted them claiming that the art still belongs to him and he wants it back, so they had to pull it before the end.
They'll chat with him and see what the outcome is and see if it can be relisted, although I'd guess not.
