I'm a big fan of the 2012 Dredd film, and have been collecting the sequel/Prequel comic stories to the film as the come out. Just wanted to verify and see if I'd missed any.

So far, as far as I know, there's been:

Dredd - Top of the World, Ma-Ma
Dredd - Underbelly
Dredd - Uprise
Dredd - Dust
Dredd - Furies
Anderson - The Deep End
Anderson - Judgement Call
Dredd - The Dead World (forthcoming)

Did I miss any, or is that the whole list so far? Just trying to make sure my collection is complete. :)

As the title says, just wondering if there's been any mention from the powers that be on when Slaine will return to the prog for Brutania Chronicles IV: Archon arc? Know Mills is a busy guy with all the other stories he's writing, but dying for more Slaine and can't get enough of Davis' art. And seeing as the Brutania Chronicles arcs seem to release on average yearly, it's about that time. ;)

So loved Dredd, and have downloaded the prequel comic "Top of the World, Ma-Ma" and own the comic sequel "Underbelly".

Has 2000AD announced any plans for future comic sequels to the film? While I'd love to see a film sequel, if that ends up not happening I'd happily buy any future comics set in the Dredd movie continuity.

And given Underbelly selling out quite quickly when it was released over here in the US, I'd be quite surprised if 2000AD doesn't plan on doing more. I could understand they may want to hold back some in case a sequel does happen (so as not to step on its toes or cover similar ground to a proposed sequel script), but at the same time the tales are pretty self-contained, so I don't see continuity being a big problem.

So yeah, just wondering if anyone's heard any inklings of future Dredd comic sequels by 2000AD. And would you like to see more of these comic continuations of the film verse?

General / 2000 AD / Judge Dredd - Newb questions

From time to time I'd pick up a 2000 AD prog or JD Megazine at my local comic shop (in the US). I was drawn to the grittier world of Dredd and Mega City 1. However, being a completist, I was reluctant to dive into Dredd's world for fear of never getting the "whole story" per se.

Then I recently discovered the Complete Case Files series reprinting all the 2000AD and Megazine material in chronological order. I was sold. I've only picked up the first two volumes so far (the Rebellion UK editions), and am about halfway through Vol 1. Even without the long epics Dredd is known for, Vol 1 is a fun slice of Dredd stories early years. Looking forward to Vol 2's Cursed Earth story. I even went to the trouble of printing out the Burger Wars and Soul Food stories so I could read the entire tale.

This leads me to my first question:

Besides Burger Wars and Soul Food, are there any other missing Dredd tales unlikely to be reprinted in the Case Files? I know Annuals and Specials are available in the Restricted Files series, and the Anderson / Psi Div stuff is being collected as well. But for instance, will The Dead Man story be collected in the Case Files, or should I pick up the separate trade (once I get that far, that is).

Secondly, what is and isn't considered Dredd/Meg Cit 1 canon? Obviously most, if not all stories from the progs, Megas, and Annuals & specials, but what about the spin off stuff like the novels and audio plays (since some of the audio series stuff draws on established Dredd canon stories and makes an effort to concretely place themselves on the timeline)?

As a continuation of the previous question, what about the spin off and crossover material? I know Strontium Dog, ABC Warriors, Harlem Heroes, etc all supposedly exist in the same continuity, but what else takes place in the universe of Mega City 1 and 2, Texas City, Brit Cit, etc?

I know most of the newer stuff hasnt been collected yet, but are there any other tales unlikely to be reprinted?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
