Any subscribers still waiting for 1998?

I usually get my prog in the Saturday post. I'm aware there have been distribution issues, but it's now Friday and still no prog! Just about the worst week for this to happen. I'm terrified to look at the review threads in case I pick up spoilers. Just wondered if anyone else is in the same position?
If no prog tomorrow, I think it'll have to be WHSmiths for an extra one.

mine came Monday - if it ever gets to Friday, I'd give Denise a call on the subs line (for now, it's changing soon) - a replacement prog should be on it's way to you straight away ... and in my experience, your postie will have found the original which will arrive the same time!

Third week in a row no Saturday prog - initially blamed the Bank Holiday, but no prog thread here.... Postie slippage spreading?

Not quite prog 1998 but 2048 seems currently AWOL with no review thread started.  Anyone had theirs this week yet?  Last week's prog didn't turn up until Thursday and slightly mauled to boot.  Been a while since these problems have hit.   :(

Not got mine and as you say no review thread and I don't think I've seen a preview of the cover yet?

If this was 1980, we could safely assume space pirate raids on convoys between Jupiter and Saturn* were to blame. Or that Tharg's electro-presses melted under the waves of raw thrill power emanating from the already fabled Prog 2050.**

But you can't expect middle aged nerds to swallow such fairy stories in the age of the internet. Clearly, 2000ad has gone bust and Tharg is already boarding a flight to Buenos Aries, carrying a bag stuffed with our subscription money and styrofoam cups.***

* Quaxxan to English translation: an industrial dispute over reading allowances or free coffee (see Thrill power Overload p74)

** Quaxxan to English translation: it was a bank holiday weekend and the printers struggled to clear the resulting backlog.

*** Because you can never get a decent cuppa when you go abroad

No Prog in Bonnybridge, but the cover has been up on Facebook since Friday.

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.

I got my copy of 2048 yesterday.
Bizarrely, I got my free graphic novel for having a letter published in this issue on Saturday.
