Jeez, I’m too old for comics. I have no recollection of any of that!

Ha, it's something I find happens quite regularly too- I can recall events from most comics I read as a kid or teen in intricate detail, yet a story from say two years ago (especially one that didn't really grab me)- fergettaboutit.

I'm enjoying both of the current runs of Savage and ABC Warriors, but maybe it isn't the best idea to run them at the same time.

Current line-up is working well for me in general, with the exception of the increasingly insane Bad Company (although the Dayglo Droid provides some enjoyment).

Mentioned before, but a perfect line-up would always include a Future Shock / Terror Tale style one-off in my view.

On a related subject, what happened to that army of bad robots, including Blackblood, Mek Quake and Volkhan? About 10 years ago they were on their way to confront our heroes, but then we had all the flashbacks. Flashbacks are over now though aren’t they, but we seem to have forgotten about the other lot.

That confrontation took place in 'The Volgan War' Book IV didn't it?

I cant decide if that cardboard stuff is madness or genius

A bit of both I think!

I think the original return to Mars was an attempt to return to the classic days of the Warriors

I recall really enjoying the initial return to Mars arcs, but a new setting would be more than welcome.
The follow-up Mars setting has been in place since Prog 2000 (December 1999)!

I feel that the current story-line is pushing forward somewhat, and anticipate a new direction (and likely new team line-up) by the time it wraps up.

Mario Odyssey deserved it's own thread goddammit, but I'll keep rolling with this one.

Found the Mario Odyssey thread 2 seconds later

Finally achieved 100% completion last night- my last Power Moon was the 'Iceburn Circuit Class S'- nearly killed me that one.
Were the the rewards - a few cosmetic touches (Gold Odyssey sails and a Top-hat on Peach's castle) - really worth the effort?
Of course they were.  :|

I'd like to take this opportunity to voice my own concerns about Tordelback's posts- consistently glib, unfriendly and completely devoid of intelligent refinement.

Something has to be done.

I've got the original progs, the Eagle reprint, selected 'Best of 2000AD monthly' reprints, Titan reprints, the black and silver Titan reprint and couldn't really justify getting it all again

Not the kind of casual fan this forum normally attracts - buck up boyo!

I like the sound of this Nemesis 'monograph', not a bad idea for the floppy.

Donkey Kong Country - Tropical Freeze coming out for the Switch. GET IN ALSO!

I didn't bother with Tropical Freeze for Wii U, so its a shoe-in for me.

I assume there will be another Image one along soon...
Here's hoping. In the meantime: Top Shelf.

Some great stuff in there, but wasn't this exact same bundle on offer about two years ago?

It's only a mid life crisis if you plan to live to 80...

No guarantees to last that long of course Tordel, but I just need to get as far as the year that 'San Junipero' becomes reality.

Cheers everyone- over the shock of it now!

I regretfully missed that issue of New Scientist over the Christmas hullabaloo- that's some great work by the rock solid Goddard Droid.

You're building quite the collection my dear Dr.
