Last game played (for the past 5 weeks or so) is Stardew Valley.
It has utterly, utterly charmed me, but I think I'm reaching the point where it's time to say adieu.
I know that Stardew Valley was inspired by the Harvest Moon games, but I have never played them, despite the proliferation of the series.
I'm looking for some recommendations regarding Harvest Moon- whats the best version out there, closest in style to Stardew Valley?
Ideally on the Wii U or 3DS Virtual Console.

Its almost as if Johnson filmed the scene where they patronizingly patted 'troublesome' comatose Poe on the head first, then worked backwards from that moment, no matter how preposterous the plot.

Xerxes: The Fall of the House of Darius and the Rise of Alexander #1
While I think the cover was a bit lackluster, the issue itself delivered. Swords, sandals, gore and fancy things to say. Pleasantly surprised by this issue.
Big fan of 300, so had to pick this up.
Great to see that Miller is recovering from ill health and is back doing what he does best.
I've also been enjoying another Dark Horse book recently; Hungry Ghosts by Anthony Bourdain & talented chums. A series of food themed short horror stories in the vein of Vertigo / 2000AD. Really charming 4 issue mini series, with one issue left to go.
I'm not one for standard superhero fare lately, but I gave The Terrifics a shot on a whim, issue 1 and 2 were only €2.99 each.
Decentish, but not really my bag. I'll pick up the next trade of Black Hammer instead of continuing with it.

Just catching up on a few weeks worth of Progs, and I must say, this was the strongest one I've read in ages.
This all too brief Dredd story was simply top shelf stuff. The non-eye contact between Joe and Gerhart as he took the Long Walk was just Wagnerian.
Artwork in the entire Prog was second to none, just losing half a point from a perfect 10 for the coloring in Anderson. I'd have much preferred some monochrome Roach.
I've always had a bit of a bee in my bonnet with Strontium Dog since Johnny's resurrection (was never on board with it to be honest), but this was the first episode that softened my black Max Bubba heart. Brilliant stuff.
All wrapped in a great cover by talented forumite Mimikeke- looking forward to seeing more of her work.
