The cover is all kind a great, design wise.

I wish I'd been able to get Rachael to do more for FQ, but the one strip she did is a cracker, and the issue is  still available from the fqp shop too... for a mere £2.50...

You aren't alone Woolly- I've looked at that picture for way more time than I should have. It is just so wrong, but so fascinating in its construction.

Odeon- booked online as well to knock a further 10% off and rack up 'points' towards free tickets along the path. At the one near in lovely West Bromwich it cost me approx 6.75 a head.

As for the fillum itself- loved it to bits. I'm a happy consumer of Star-wars and I'm quite enjoying wading through Rebels as and when I can catch episodes.

I may be misremembering, but Tula is also one of the founders of the Thought Bubble convention.

'Tis a cracking cover.

1. NapalmKev- Sweet Christmas
2. HeathCAckley- Drifter
3. The Legendary Shark- Dare To Dream.

HM- Eamonn Clarke- Cold Equations

Really enjoyed these.

... so this is like fifty shades of Dredd?

(Fifty shades of grey starting out (allegedly) as Twilight fanfiction before becoming something independent...)

I've not read the work, but good luck with removing enough plot/character elements so as to avoid a Rigellian Hotshot.

Have you contacted Rebellion and explained the project to ask for a blessing from Tharg?

Wow. The animation style is astoundingly good.

And Miles' dad wins my award for best Dad. I can only dream of embarrassing my kids that much.

Huge fan of the mighty BMB, he used to post around here as well. His work is just lovely to have watched evolve over the last ten years or so.

I'd have loved him to zoom out a bit more and show more of this.

We've got a couple of real contenders here I think with this one and Bruno Stahl.

Link to Buy!

There is also a dropbox link to the first four (of twenty) pages- please take a look as this is great fun.

Saw Solo on the bank Holiday- despite thoroughly enjoyed the Firefly feeling of the opening section, thought Thandie Newton was wasted. Loved how Hahn got his surname how generally awful he was at most things. The only things that disappointed were the appearance of a character I thought was dead and with it the prospect of any sequels involving that character.

Mind, if Qu'ira and the spiky headed one next appear in the Obi-wan fillum and are dealt with there- that will be a nice surprise.

Yeah, it's pretty solid. It wears the influences from the 2012 fillum very openly, but overall it's worth the cost of entrance. The tease displayed in the Thrill-mail this week also shows that the art is lovely, too.
