Just read that Jacqueline Pearce - AKA Servalan in Blakes 7 - has died aged 74.

Shit, I think I met her at Newcastle Comic Con last year. She was awfully quiet / shy!!

Hmmm, I said "Any other recent instances of crossovers between series?", AFTER reading your post regarding said crossover, hence the "Any other" part of my post.

Bunky in Judge Dredd.

See, you understand my original post!!

Hmm, while an interesting turn of events, I'd have preferred that the series stayed seperate. The order is getting ever closer to Indigo Prime and seeing as both series now share a writer- that's not good.

Any other recent instances of crossovers between series?

Indigo Prime & Revere spring to mind...

Film & TV / Re: The Boys TV series - Karl Urban cast as Butcher

Karl Urban hasn't found any heroes yet...

http://deadline.com/2018/04/the-boys-karl-urban-cast-amazon-superhero-drama-series-billy-butcher-1202359273/

I'm not familiar with The Boys so had a quick google - is Butcher the one who looks like Simon Pegg?

Beahahahaha, no!! That's Wee Hughie, Butcher's the big white tough looking sociopathic Co-founder & leader of the Boys.

Prog / Prog 2072 - Weaponmaster!
« on: 09 March, 2018, 07:44:28 pm »
A rare treat for me today!!!

Cover - A picture of Joe Pineapples looking suitably badass

Judge Dredd - Ends rather well actually, but left me wondering what Judge Lola meant by "mystery to solve"?

Bad Company - A WTF? ending for me, what with Kano killing the General and retrieving evidence of the conspiracy, but choosing not to reveal it to anyone else just yet. It just doesn't make sense. Also, did the corpse actually speak to Kano or was it all in his head?

ABC Warriors - Terrible ending, what with Blackblood still being alive despite the Marsokhods defeat,  and with Volkhan running away like a little sissy. I also liked the dialogue between Blackblood and Deadlock.

Future Shocks - Nice enjoyable little tale by Laura Bailey, last year's Thought Bubble pitchfest competition winner, with art by art-comp winner Paul Williams

Brass Sun - Stand-out winner for me this week, with Wren now off to join up with the Resistance on Hind-Leg, as well s the identity of this new Big Bad.
