Give him a voucher allowing him 30 minutes a day to come and play here. Lots of us have children. And we miss him. This place is like the Hotel California - you can check out, but never leave.

Sooner or later, they all come back.

ha ha I might just do that! Though I should point out that it's work, rather than me who's actually stopping him...
I might also take him to signing day as a special birthday treat. Though when I say take him, I mean send him...

One of the most famous 2000AD artists is 'SmallBlueThing'- and a page of his artwork will light up your man's life with no shadow of a doubt. By lucky hap, he's having a sale at the moment and a complete five page 'judge dredd' strip, drawn in his trademarked avant garde 'future lowrie' style will set you back only two hundred notes. Pm him for details.

SBT

that sounds like a great deal! but not sure we have 200 notes right now...but thank you!

Hi 2000ADers

Oddgirl here! Sorry Oddboy hasn't been around much lately, but the two small things we've spawned are keeping him busy (and he has work to do at work nowadays...who knew?!). It's his 33rd birthday next month and I am all out of ideas. Could any of you guys and gals point me towards something he might like? Hopefully I can work out whether he has it or not.

And shhhhh...it's a secret ;)

It's all about emotion...  Dredd's not emotional, whereas Dante is - at least that's possibly why Judge Dredd this week was kinda lame, while Nikolai Dante was at the top of it's game.

I too loved the corner of the room angles moment in the Terror Tale. Very nice trick.

Fairly glad that Defoe seems to have stopped, as I lost track of what was going on there... how could such a blood thirsty gorefest zombie story be sooo dull?

This week's Twisted Tale was brought to you by the letters "W", "T" and "F".

Other Reviews / Bob's Twisted Tale this week...
10 August, 2008, 12:04:02 AM
Bob's Twisted Tale this week... I just don't get it.

Some bugs go across a river. Some other type of bugs are also there. Some have a thingy on their back. Some eat each other. Thingy meets other thingy and lives happily ever after.

Anyone care to explain?

I too was confused by Shakara... sounds like a big re-read is the cure-all needed!

Emphatically Evil is wonderful!
Enjoying Kingdom, nice continuation from the previous one.
Stickleback - not started reading this yet- I realized I didn't finish reading the first story (no idea why, I liked what I did read) so will have to dig that out first.
Stront is fun, but feels a little slight
Umm what else is there?

Oh yeah! Shakara! 'tis pretty cool.

Hullo y'all!

(I've got spies)

'fraid I don't really have time to keep up here during the day & I've fallen to the wayside... but now I have the internet at home again (after four months with no connection) I really should put the effort in. Apologies for my lameness!

Big hugs all round!

Although from the point of view of just getting a mortgage, that probably bad news... :-~

Yeah, I am behind on my GN collecting due to having just moved to a bigger-mortgaged home - darn bills!

Yeah - fantastic Time Twister...

Good solid endings to Dredd & Button Man - neither were too long for my liking, it's good to give stories long enough to breath sometimes.

Loved Red Seas, don't know if we'll go back to the piratey times next, or stay in 'the future'...

Didn't really get the ending of Bob's Twisted Tale... was it really 'and then he went home for tea'?!

So I take it no one knows if Rebellion are working on a new game or not?
