Try contacting Rebellion or maybe one of the larger comic shops (FP?)

Bou: you are in a unique position. Through hard graft and innovation, you have found yourself in a position where you may actually be able to provide for your family whilst fulfilling your artistic desires.

Necessity is indeed the mother of invention, and as I have three and a half pages to complete in the next week and a half, I'm going to get very inventive!

Seriously though, the question you ask indicates to me that you really just want to be told you are doing the right thing. And you are, so when you've finished the washing and ironing, get the paints out again and earn a couple of bob.

As long as you are able to paint images that are pleasing to your eyes and not have to slog your guts out producing dross, it is all good for you.

You lucky bugger :)

Best

"I'm intrigued by the fact that the vast majority of visitors to this website see Tharg as going "commando". That's just wrong.

Nonsense young Dudley, Transference, thats all it is. If I were an all powerful alien publisher, would I bother with pants? I think not.

Bolt-01 freely admits that he voted for Tharg to go commando! As long as he doesn't have to see.

Awww PJ, I wasn't having a go, I was trying to balance up being all gushy about the Rogue work by picking on something I wasn't too keen on.

At Dreddcon last year I got a good idea of how long some things can wait to see print when Tharg & Alan Barnes announced casually that everything for 2004 was already booked and on the way. So I should not be surprised when you tell us that the FS sat in a drawer for a while.

Sorry you felt the need to reply to my post, but I understand what its like to read something negative about stuff.

Still looking forward to getting my prog tomorrow.

I've never met PJ, but I've read a lot of what he has done both as a pro and a fan.

I like his style, and therefore am happy to say so, but I thought the recent FS he did (Autocrats anonymous) looked crude. The storytelling worked but the finished inks reminded me of some of the poorer American artists.

In his interview on the 2000adreview site he said he was aiming  for a Jack Kirby look on that strip. I feel he failed. If PJ takes offence at this I'm sorry, but its how I feel.

Logan and watcher have it right, just because droids read this, it should not stop us being honest. Constructive criticism can only help the comic, and its creators, to grow and improve.

POSS SPOILERS

I'm here early enough this week that I want to add my ten pence:

Dredd: nothing more to say, absolutely awesome, though I was a little concerned by Dolmans behaviour near the cits. Worried he might do something.... bad

FS: I like Coleby, but I'm going to read this again tomorrow, as it felt like there was a lot going on and I might have missed something. Solid though.

Sin/Dex: I too like Clarke's style, and found his depiction of Isobel to be absolutely stunning. Storywise, yes we have seen this before, but its still good fun.

Valkyries: I'm going to wait on this now till it finishes.

Rogue: Storywise, you can see Grennie has been doing his homework, but the real eye opener is the art. PJ Holden has turned in the best work of his career. No doubt this is good stuff and I'm sure this series would have been stronger if PJ had been along all the way through (apologies to Mike Collins and Dylan Teague)

Shame there was no Droid life though......

Hi Flyd, Warhammer is a role-playing game from Games Workshop.

Not into it myself, but it is quite popular and Dabnett is not the only Droid to contribute.

I think Grennie, Simon Coleby and probably more are involved with the magazine side of it.

"I have never enjoyed a film drunk - my attention span goes completely."

I thought Dudley Moore was quite watchable in Arthur (the first one) although I might be wrong in that he was only a film 'drunk'.

Bolt-01 apologises for he above joke, he has had far to little sleep.
