And further proof that I should never appear in front of a camera.

Really good night though and enjoyed meeting everybody.

My copy of 1780 never showed either, couldnt wait so I ended up buying a copy from WH Smiths.

I buckled too and bought my copy of 1780 from a shop as the sub never arrived.

I knew that the Saturday thing was a bonus and that progs are supposed to arrive on Monday. Maybe they were just late sending them out this week.

Wow! Is John Wagner going to tie up all loose ends in Dredd? Not only do we have the return of
Fear, Fire and Mortis
but
Judge Peace shows up, 30-odd years after first being mentioned in "Mutie the Pig"
.

Made custom graphics for "The Sims" which were included by Maxis in one of the official expansion packs.

Actually, I'm not entirely sure that I should admit to that.

Indie graphic novel author Grant Chastain (Corrective Measures) did an "Ask Me Anything" on reddit earlier today which may be useful to some.

It was lovely to meet you as well Stacey! I'm so glad you liked handling my Johnny  ;)
I did take this photo but I was stuck at the back as I was almost the last in. You are there , just..

Ah crap! My bald spot is worse than I thought (yes, that's me in the grey).

If you'd asked, I'd have ducked.

No floppy here too. Assumed my copy of Death Planet had been sent to Garth Ennis just to prove it could be collected.

Well thank you Worldshown. I am now going to have to visit my nearest Smyths.

See, this is why I don't always post on these topics. Every time I do, I cost vzzbux more money. :D

I'll second Tunghori. I've only bought off him once. The original package never arrived so he replaced it, no extra charge, within five days.

I've used Star Action Figures many times (http://www.staractionfigures.co.uk/). Wayne has never let me down.

If you've a Smyth's near you, they're currently selling Clone Wars figures for £5.99 and some box sets of 3/4 figures for £14.99.

Time to update your anti-viruses and malware removal kits again, folks.

Bloody "Privacy Protection" infection just wasted the last five hours of my life.

55%, though I had to fudge a couple of questions.

I've never played Warhammer or Dungeons & Dragons, but I have played Paranoia.

I've never gone over somebody's house to play Trivial Pursuit, but I am banned from a mate's house over Christmas because I won their family quiz three years in a row.

Books & Comics / Re: Strip Magazine # 1
03 November, 2011, 05:06:06 PM
Picked up a copy today. My first thought was that the design of the magazine is top notch. The presentation throughout is beautiful.

There are nine strips in the whole thing, two of which are one page funnies. The four strips that make up the spine of the comic I already want to see more of, especially Warpaint.

Black Ops drops you straight into the action and doesn't let up til the last page. Recovery Inc introduces the main character and her world really well and John Ridgway's art on Age of Heroes is very atmospheric.

The only gripes I've got are a few mistakes in the lettering (the editiorial, Recovery Inc and Age of Heroes) and the balloons on Ex-Agent detract from the quite splendid artwork. Just nit-picking really.

Well worth the £2.99 and I will be buying the next one.
