If anyone is still looking for this, and you're in the Dorset area, Paradox Comics in Poole have a copy on the shelf just waiting to be grabbed.

Has the Progmuda Triangle claimed the Megazine??  Is it in the shops?
Thought it was strange that there was no review thread yet. Mine arrived on Saturday with the Prog and the 13th Floor Special. I'm in Dorset.

Let's just hope that Pat gets what he thinks he's due with this version. Otherwise I'm sure he won't be slow in letting everyone know if he's not happy. Again!  ;)

No-one knew them, but they have established themselves as primo bullet monkeys again, and restored their acquaintance with Rocky, Bar None, Billie and various lowlifes. Only Billie has even the vaguest sense that they knew each other before.

Of course there is something larger and altogether odd going on, between the Devil, magic tats, Dex's thought bubbles, urban renewal and now this firewalled AI business. All smacks of a VR prison to me, or perhaps some of the themes of Banks' Matter.

Thanks TordelBack! I hadn't thought about the amount of time that's passed within the story, being the same or longer, than our time. Makes more sense now. But as you say, something still feels slightly off......

Regarding Sin Dex at the moment, does anyone know what the current situation is with people knowing/not knowing who they are after the inter-dimensional shenanigans?
I thought everyone had forgotten them (except Billi who was starting to remember) and they were having to start over but this story reads like they've just had a bit of time off and come back! They feel older and out of place but they are top sharks and hanging out with old pal Rocky at the Bar None.
Any Sin Dex experts out there who can fill me in?

I'm more curious about how the Black Museum and Hall of Heroes still have any exhibits - hasn't the Grand Hall been blown up and completely destroyed at least 2 or 3 times?
Off the top of my head I can think of Apocalypse War (and then during the grand re-opening in The Prankster as well) and Chaos Day. Possibly there are more occasions too.
Surely all the original exhibits that we 1st saw are all long gone and destroyed in nuclear fire by now?

*  Even if I did wonder when Justice Department decided to build four lane highways leading out of and into a city they want to keep citizens in and keep migrants out of with equal, fanatical zeal. It's always looked like the rubble and desert of the Cursed Earth goes right up to the wall in previous depictions. Although top marks to Cornwell for attention to detail - the on-ramp merges into the highway from the right, which is the kind of cultural difference that usually foxes UK artists.

I think they've improved the road infrastructure following the building of all of the Mutant Camps in The Cursed Earth that MC1 now has responsibility for maintaining and policing. I'd assume that means more traffic in an out on a daily basis than previously?

According to Lew Stringer's Blog the current issue is the last (again).

Announcements / Re: New Hachette tests
23 March, 2017, 11:44:01 AM
Sadly for everyone looking forward to getting the test editions it looks like IndigoPrime is right. I tried adding my subscriber code to my online Hachette account this morning and kept getting an error message. An instant message window popped up after the 2nd attempt and I had a very pleasant chat with a guy from Hachette called Vincent.
Apparently my subscriber code isn't a subscriber code at all - it's for a one off purchase code that only applies to one book. There is no 2000AD collection at this point and so it is not possible to subscribe to it. Incidentally, the contact email in the subscription email doesn't exist either!
Time for everyone to get their fingers crossed for a full national launch!

Bloody hell, they've done it! Yes!

At one stage, I'd have said it'd never happen, but after getting Zenith, Dan Dare and the banned Cursed Earth episodes back into print, it seemed quite possible. Well done, Tharg - I never doubted you!

Has Tharg built a crack team of brand new legal droids in the past few years and not told us? Or does he just send Dredd to do his negotiating?! Rebellion are burning through that list of dream projects we all thought would never happen.

The Mega Collection only made it to 4 issues here in the test area, then there was a 6 week break before the full national launch. The test editions were identical apart from different spine art.

There were only four test issues planned, so it's not an indication of how well it did (very well, as it turns out).
That's good to know Molch-R. I was so excited when I 1st spotted it in the newsagents I bought 2 copies and then nagged a lot of other people to buy it as well!

I've subscribed to a number over the years and never had this happen. Nearest has been when they trial a partwork in an area and only release the first half dozen issues to test the water.
