[The Toothy Awards]

With Prog 2002 in the can, now is the time for me to unveil the inaugural "Toothies", an awards scheme to celebrate the best of 2000AD & The Megazine of the preceding year.

In order to better reflect the views of Squaxx, the votes cast will be counted by preference voting. This means you put your most favourite as "1", second most preferred as "2", and so on. You only /have/ to put a
first preference, but the more preferences you put the more flexible your vote it (for more details on preference voting, check out www.electoral-reform.org.uk). This is designed to gain a better consensus rather than rely on first past the post.

Email all responses to toothies2000@h... by no later than Monday 14 January 2002.

Best Creator Droid, be it Script Droid, Art Droid or even Letterer Droid whose work has appeared in an original strip in 2001 in 2000AD or the Megazine.

Best Creator Droid as above who made his or her debut in 2001.

BEST CREATOR TEAM 2001
Best art/script team whose work has appeared in either 2000AD or the Meg in 2001. Writer/artist droids may be entered in this category as a team in their own right!

Best single, stand alone story to appear in either 2000AD or the Meg in 2001. This does not include single part stories of continuing series, but can include all Future Shocks, Terror Tales and single part Tales of Telguuth.

Best Story in 2000AD or the Meg of any series, any length. This may include Dredd stories, although there are separate categories for Dredd below.
