Hey,

Couldn't see a thread about this but it's a pretty cracking deal.

Humble Bundle (they do a 'pay what you want' deal on batches of videogames and ebooks with a portion of the money going to charities, have gotten some crazily good bundles from them in the past) have an Image Comics bundle up at the moment.

You can pay whatever you like to get the first volumes of East of West, Fatale, Lazarus and Morning Glories, if you pay above the average donation (currently about $9) you also get Saga, Revival and Chew, and if you pay $15 or more you also get Volumes 1 and 20 (?) of The Walking Dead.

TWD aside I haven't read any of those books, and as it happens Volume 20 was the next TWD on my list. Really cool way to try out some new stuff for me, and for a good cause!

Spotted that yesterday and paid the $15. A great bargain for a good selection of books supposedly worth $85. I had read single issues of Saga and Chew and had earmarked the trades for future purchase, so it was great to get them for a bargain. Hadn't bothered getting into The Walking Dead but reading Vol 1 I may now change my tune.
Highly recommended.

Do the graphic novels come as PDFs only, or are there CBRs too?

I've found Morning Glories to be utter trite (managed 6 issues), and while willing Revival to be good I'm still not really impressed (managed 13 issues so far).

Not read the others so can't really comment. Still a bloody good deal by the looks of it.

Think I started a thread about this the other day.

You get a choice of PDF, CBZ, CBR and a couple of others. I think you're allowed to download multiple copies too.

I really like Revival and picked up the Oversized hardback to support it. It's pacing setting and multiple characters make it (and satellite sam) quite different to the mainstay of comics. Very impressed by it and will continue with it.

East of West, Fatale, Lazarus are all worth getting. Morning Glories I wouldn't touch with a barge pole.
If I'd known it was harmless I would have killed it myself.

Chew is very good - I've been collecting the trades as I can't get on with these new fangled comics-on-a-screen thingies.
