Pat mills will be in Colchester, Essex on monday 12th of April. Together with Eric Fernie, I think he'll be giving a free talk called 'Dan Dare and Misty: boys and girls comics of the 1950s to 1970s'.this will take place at the headgate theatre, 14 chapel street north, Colchester, CO2 7AT from 7pm-8:30pm. its part of firstsite(some kind of small gallery or something in colchester) comic month, where in the first three weeks of april they will be holding a programming of talks, workshops, film screenings and a residency on the theme of comics, art and contemporary culture. They are hosting an artist  residency to develop a new comic-inspired work based on Colchester's landscape. This is all in partnership with ACE comics, a very good comic book shop in Colchester.
