I've had to complain to the landlord about drug dealers living next door to us as of today they have been given 2 months to leave.
Tomorrow she is phoning the letting agent to say she didn't know it was her boyfriend.
Can/would the letting agent tell them who complained??
Considering the complaint was about criminal activity, no. Most people would know not to name names and implicate themselves in any blowback.
To be fair, though, figuring out who might have complained isn't rocket science, and even if it was, most people would just assume it was one of their neighbors anyway.
Just keep your head down until they're gone.
That's the plan speaking to the there landlord he has told the letting agents it was the police who rang him.
And has said if they ring him direct he will say it was the police that phoned him.
Which technically isn't a lie as I'd handed them the phone whilst I was speaking to them
