Solomon Kane - Trailer

The opening scene has Kane, dressed in black,  bearded and brandishing duel swords while grinning through long hair, and my first thought was "That's Dante right there."

It's a good description of Solomon Kane as well.

Hmmm... couldn't get past: (A) it being loads of sequences that just didn't gel with any of the others, (B) Purefoy resembling Hugh Jackman/Vigo Morgenstern/Robert Carlylse sometimes IN THE SAME SENETENCE, (C) the whole "shot in leafless English woods on the cheap" being scarily reminiscent of Hawk The Slayer.

Enjoyable guff with some good head hacking, but I thought the Balrog at the end was a bit old hat.
