Well, a few of those Zenith books have started popping up on ebay but this one caught my attention due to the £1000 Buy it Now offer.

As someone who paid a hefty wedge for the privilege of owning one of these, I have asked the seller to explain why having shrink wrap plastic on his edition is worth approx £700 more than the rest of the zenith books floating around. Lets see what they reply....

judgerufian

Keeping the Zenith book shrink wrapped and not knowing the number is just to encourage high bids.

i have to admit that at the time they announced the Zenith hardback i thought 'hmm, £100, I'm not so sure' - now if they announced it again i'd definitely buy one.  Not coz i could sell it on ebay for ten times the amount, just coz I'm like Morrissey and i really want what i can't have!

My opinion is not to be trusted: I think Last Action Hero is AWESOME. And What Women Want.

Really rare Batman: Prodigal book going cheap at the minute:

He's met Dredd more than once so it's kind of related to 2000AD (and it might be me whos selling it...  ::))

Hi eammon
Well done on getting the book double signed and doing it for charity.
I think the auction might suffer for not having Dredd in the title but feel free to ignore and i'll bid a £10 to get it going a bit more.

Eamonn Clarke

Thanks, it's a good point that I should have thought of. Unfortunately I can't edit the title now that bidding has started. Hopefully advertising it to the faithful here will have helped
