The final price on that McMahon cover will be interesting. Still not at its reserve...!

Skullmo

The reserve is 3k. :)
It's a joke. I was joking.

Spikes

The reserve is kinda of no importance, if I'm guessing correctly as to who will ultimately snag this,  :(

But a stunning cover, and looks to be in tip-top condition. Lovely just to see it surface....

That McMahon cover is very, very nice.

For those interested in going rates on the Zenith book: I sold my unopened one for £300, cash on collection. I told the buyer that it was being collected in single hardbacks, so had a clear conscience.

That £300 has since been blown on a WII U, and I am glad.

You realise that by publicly admitting making a profit you risk the wrath of the socialists prowling the forum!

It's not so much that he sold Zenith and made a profit, it's that he used that money to buy a WII U!

Um, like I care? My reasons for selling are dead simple: I've never owned a book as valuable, and would be unhappy devaluing the thing by reading it. I own the progs already, and I've pre-ordered the single volumes.

Mate, don't know it 'til you've tried it. It's been a long time since I played games I enjoyed so much. Not the thread for it, but the thing about games is that the West has moved from games (skill challenges that stand repeat playing and where you accumulate skill, with the skillful replay bringing fun) to interactive movies (where you play for the story).

I like both - I finished The Last of Us a few weeks ago and it was intense fun - but the Wii gets a bad press for being a games machine.

I also like the fact it is family friendly: I have three boys under 10 and am happy for them to play Mario.

Only joking.  ;)

Skullmo

Ironically I sold my WII U and bought a Zenith book!

I would have bought one from the original run but there was a limited number and they were all sold out!
