General / Rogue Trooper on Ebay
04 November, 2007, 07:16:15 PM

Whilst browsing ebay today I noticed that 2 sellers, livingdeadcat & megatronius were selling complete runs of all Rogue Trooper 2000AD appearances on DVD. Both sellers had a disclaimer on their advert claiming the following
NOTE TO EBAY!
THIS MATERIAL IS AVAILABLE IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN THEREFORE DOES NOT GO AGAINST ANY EBAY RULES!

Is this correct? Are they in the public domain?

Bit annoyed as I got outbid at the death on 2 of the Rebellion Rogue trades, Re-Gene and To The End Of Nu Earth. Like Rogue my quest continues...

The cover to Prog 1526 by Philip Bond is displayed in this weeks All The Rage column over on Silverbulletcomicbooks.com

Nice article about British comics and 2000AD as well.

I'd link to it, but dont know how...

The TPB of this by the esteemed Mr Diggle of this parish is in the shops this week.
Has anybody here purchased it/the individual issues?
Would you recommend it?

Just have a look at the creator profiles and wondered who was the most prolific cover artist?

Is there a way to find this through the site?

General / Cheap Graphic Novels
17 December, 2005, 03:47:05 PM
Hello all.
Don't know if anybody is aware of this, but Forbidden Planet in Bristol has recently moved to a larger shop and is clearing out some of it's old stock. They have a raft of cheap 2000AD G/N's reduced to clear. It's a lot of the recent Titan stuff -  Dredd/Anderson/Slaine/Halo Jones etc. They have signed copies by Frank Quitely of the Missionary Man tpb. I think he came to the Bristol comic con a few years ago.

Worth popping in if you are after cheap Thrills!
Shop address is Clifton Heights, Triangle West, Bristol BS8. It's about a mile away from where the old shop used to be.

Happy Christmas!

General / Homage on this weeks cover?
22 July, 2003, 02:46:52 AM
Is it me, or does the image of Dredd on this week's cover bear a resemblance to Mike McMahon's cover on Prog 193. If I was clever I'd post a link so you could all see.

Off Topic / Roy Of The Rovers

Are there any Roy Of The Rovers fans out there?

I have 5 annuals 1978,1979, 1982, 1985 & 1986 to get rid of. I was going to try and sell them on e bay, but it all looks a bit confusing to a computer novice like me. If anybody want's them send me an e mail and I'll send them on.
