YES THERE ARE SPOILERS

Anyone seen the new radio times with the half human-half dalek hybrid? Any thoughts? From the looks of things this could be either really cool or really, really, really bad. Or of course it could be an elaborate April Fools.
The I is for 'I can't remember the password to my other account' or Ian. One or the other.

The Adventurer

I've got a scan of the cover, I won't post unless there is a consensus asking because I don't want to ambush spoiler....

actually.... the Image is the link in my sig, beware massive spoilers if you click.

I also predict much conclusion jumping and gnashing of teeth when people start to see this.

Half dalek, half human and six part vibrator, from the look of that cover...

Its hideous - both in concept and execution (which is what the designers and the bod who approved it should face).
Yeah, there'll be much nashing of teeth when this is broadcast i'm sure.
Thing is, the article goes on about it being the big twist of the tale - then they go and bung it on the sodding cover
The perspective on that chairs all wrong

The Amstor Computer

Why would the Daleks, given their history within the series, create a man-Dalek to try and - as far as I can tell from the preview - perpetuate the Dalek race?

The idea of Dalek Sec & co. being a â??Dalek thinktankâ? who were permitted to think like the enemy was very cool, but Iâ??m not sure I like the idea of him/it becoming a recurring â??characterâ?â?¦

Seven of Nine anyone-still I'll reserve judgement until I've watched the episode.

Daleks have long been after the "human factor" in order to help them crush the galaxy betterer.
Nobody warned me I would be so awesome.

Steve Green

Yeah, not keen on that. Still, not as bad as the guards who had dalek helmets on in old Who.

I'd rather they have a crack at re-designing the Dalek machine itself, if only to get its arse kicked by the classic Daleks.

Maybe the Estate of Terry Nation prevents that as part of the licence to use them though.

I stumbled over it on the Radio Times web site... marginally better than seeing it in Smiths I suppose.

Kinda reminded me of Scaroth, hope the episode is half as good as City of Death; though I fear for the worse. I also hope the episode isn't 90% exposition like the previous couple.

Buddy

Isn't that the new Davros??

Half human half Dalek.

Just a thought.

"Kinda reminded me of Scaroth"
Yeah, a deeply crap imitation of the fella.
I mean, really, it looks like a blind bloke with a Kaled hat

If you're worried about spoilers, avoid the Wikipedia episode list, too.  I'm convinced that a great deal of the upcoming plot elements are either red herrings or vandalism of the wiki pages...
