Comics Festival at the Institut francais

Just to let u know there is a comics 'festival' of a sort at the Institut francais from 16 to 19 Oct.

According to the blurb :-

"What is the status of the modern European comic strip ? How does it stand beside American comic books and Japanese manga ? How can the French and British work together ? 20 comic strip writers and illustrators from Britain and France visit the Institut francais for a series of discussions, lectures, workshops and animated shorts, and to meet the public as well as other professionals."

Might be worth a look if you are in the area - there's a sale of Comic Strips from 12 noon on the Saturday from 'Gosh' and 'The French Bookshop'. Anyone from the 2k camp going ??
I wonder if the Millster will be there - he's into the French scene at the mo'.
