2000AD Online

this is a club for people who started reading at prog 900.  Actually I started reading on and off before that, but I've just splashed out and extended my 2000AD collection back to prog 900.
Damn there was some good stuff around then!  Skizz, which I'm just loving (apart from the laughably incaccurate aboriginals who all speak a mangled Papua New Guinean pidgen - sorry I mean "speakem"...), Button Man Ii, Red Razors, Wilderlands (annoyingly shared with the Megazine and the subject of attacks and defensive editorials by Tharg).  I'm only up to 917 and I'm dreading the day when I reach 1036 where my collection used to begin.
there's even a sort of olde world charm, which I wouldn't have thought possible for 1994 - email is introduced  for the input page and none of the advertisers have web pages.  the progs are a nice big size too - bring back the large size!
Bix Barton is stupid and Big Dave was pretty dumb but you can't have everything (where would you put it?).

yours living in the past,

Floyd
