Fellow boarders, it's my hour of need and I really could do with your help. I've had to come up with a viral video for Sky about the England vs Turkey match. To be honest it's a bit of a rush job this one, the game kicks off tomorrow, the video was filmed and compressed yesterday, the site went live this morning. If you could do me a favor and watch the video, maybe even pass it on to your mates then I'd be eternally grateful. The video is for Sky's new interactive betting service and features a (real live) Turkey being chased around a football field by a gargantuan England player in a very tight fitting kit. Funny? Well if you like scarying the shite of dumb animals then hell yeah!

While everyone's waiting for Mk13 to propose an official hotel (are they?) here's some (maybe not the best) suggestions.

I had a look on the net this week and found the Eastgate hotel in central Oxford, spitting distance(?) from the venue.

This place is a McDonalds hotel, do they do hotels now? And not as cheap as other places..

The Royal Oxford Hotel, perhaps a better bet and judging by the map a bit closer to St. Michaels st.

There's also the Eurobar hotel on George St. (in the next square on the map). Right round the corner from the Union. But at the time of writing this there's only one room left on the 6th.

I think you should contact the hotels directly by phone to clarify the exact tariff for a one/two night weekend stay- the site info can be far from clear.

Okay, so who's staying at St. Michael's Street Guest House?

I've just got off the phone and the place is fully booked for the 6th bar one single room.

The cheapest way to get from London to Oxford and back is using the new Megabus service which is about ?1 each way (?2 at peak times), plus a 50p booking fee.

I've just booked it for Winterfest this Saturday, so I should be arriving at Gloucester Place, London about 10:40 am and I'll need to be back there to catch the 6:00 pm bus home.
