that's fine, just don't ever kid yourself that you NEED one!  ;)

1. CraveNoir - Emphatically yes! - absolutely lovely, great image, great copy.
2. Gibson Quarter - just like last month, GQ captures a wonderful 'flying through the air' action moment
3. Mygrimmbrother 03 - PUTCHOW!

HM - Kerrin - top idea, shame it never got beyond the planning stage

Wasn't expecting any votes this time around, so cheers Colin_YNWA - I'm a happy camper!

Quote from: "Jim_Campbell"iSteam - absolutely useless, but for some reason utterly charms anyone you show it to
this seems to be a lot of the attraction - I work in a large office surrounded by people who profess to be skint or in debt, but who insist on showing me the latest pointless gimmick their £35 a month phone can do. And then if you question it, they say they could not possibly live without their i-phones, though I always found it pretty easy before the fuckers existed.

And my cousin bought a top of the line sat-nav - he only ever drives to six places, and he knows where all of them are!

Trailers / Re: Defoe: Queen of the Zombies

I too only got sound with no pictures - after a strangely long load time that I thought had frozen. Not that bothered really as I don't like Defoe, but any prog-related moving pictures are worth a look.

well I started this at the beginning of the comp and then kind of lost interest, so the finish is rather a hurried bodge. Also got bamboozled by some photoshop technicalities, but couldn't muster the energy to work out the solution as it felt too much like homework. Must try harder.

I hear ya - I do sometimes miss that innocence though - I never used to have any idea who did what, (and I still don't with most American comics), but it's hard not to prejudge things when you're reading progs with an eye to reviewing them. I approach a non-Wagner Dredd or anything by Pat Mills with a certain degree of trepidation these days rather than just diving in.

Quote from: "Tiplodocus"I did find it thanks - it was up in The Orkney's in the village that Cam and Izzy stay (or used to stay - I think I heard tell they might be moving) in.

On the other hand, the castle in Cumbria definitely has my Superman Fleece but danged if anyone could find it.

A bad year for losing comic stuff; first my (invaluable) sketch pad at HI-EX and now my supes fleece.

I bet your mum used to have to send you to school with those mittens on a long piece of string! :D

Quote from: "radiator"Presuming you're using a PC..... You need to unzip it, then go to the Control Panel and go to Fonts. Go File>Install New Fonts and browse for the font file. When you find it the font should appear in the little box, then you can install it. It will automatically appear in all programs.
Cheers Radiator - I'm up and running!

Quote from: "Buttonman"No love for Greta Scatchi? Great showings in almost every outing especially 'White Mischief' and 'The Coca Cola Kid'. For me though the laurels would have to go to Joan Collins in 'The Bitch' when she takes her basque off to seduce the chauffeur. Genuine celebrity doing the biz. I wouldn't link to a steamy site especially not bzvideoclips.net which has loads of free clips of actresses doing what we admire most. Shocking really especially as it has no ads or membership requirements. That's dot net remember when you are avoiding it.
Ever wanted to be a fish?

thanks for the links Jim - some of those free Blampot fonts are ace - but can anyone now explain how I make this available in programmes like photoshop? I've got a downloaded zip file and not a clue what to do with it!

Quote from: "Funt Solo"I wish I didn't read the board, because then the appearance of Quartz would have been a surprise.
Actually, Pat Mills announced this in August last year in the intro to The Complete Ro-Busters. Nice Spoiler Pat!
