Bloody hell! I've commented in the wrong place AGAIN!! That's the third time - that's got to be a record for me! Sorry, guys....!

I've been a tad obsessed with Thomas Nast over the last couple of Christmases, so I'm very happy with that comparison.  In fact I blatantly ripped him off for one of last year's entries.

I just clocked this - that's a fantastic recreation/adaption! Brilliantly executed and a fantastic idea! Love it!

The calendar is sadly drawing to a close but not without some more excellent submissions - the Fink/Decent collab was truly truly wonderful! Great humour and brilliantly drawn with lots of detail to enjoy, like the bumpy headed snowman and Johnny's apron! Crackin' stuff!
Dash's representation of Santa and Tharg yesterday was hilarious! Again, great quirky character drawing!

I was searching for a word that described the atmosphere and couldn't find one, except for the Portuguese word saudade

I just Googled 'saudade' and that's a lovely reaction to have - I'm delighted the picture invoked such a feeling. Thank you so much.

I'll have to finish TLS's story when I have more time as I'm rushing to get my second entry done by Christmas Eve - once again, a cracking image though summing up the theme of the Calendar as pointed out elsewhere.
Same goes for the game submitted by Barrington Boots - I'll have to wait until I've finished my next piece before I can give it a go.

Greg Staples has painted his version of McMahon's classic cover, and I used both designs for reference, though mostly Greg's.
