The art comp has always been open to ALL levels of artistic endeavour and has a rich history of superb artistry and equally non-artistic but humorous entries. Good natured but robust piss taking also has a strong tradition not only in the art comp but the forum at large.

I think you really need to get some perspective with your approach to a forum based art competition that is supposed to be fun James  Dilworth. To say that you are personally affronted to see Pete's entry alongside your own is not only contrary to the values of the forum but also displays a rather unattractive arrogance on your part.

QuoteWho's in?

Dunk!

As a portly middle aged person I wholeheartedly support this fantastical scheme.

Now, who would like to buy me a complete Zenith hardback limited to 1000 editions bound in stookie scrotum skin book for costume reference.....

What a turnout! Plaudits to all and especially the irrepressable (?) Owen for this month's comp. Fantastic to see so many people having a punt at eternal glory.

My votes are...

1. JT Pegg - Joe Pineapples.  Why the hell isn't Jake in the Prog?!

2. BMB - Hammerstein.  Same again for Ben, such a good comic artist. Check out Kranburn (not for kids).

3. Ben Wilsonham - Robot Judge Death.  Great piece. Top bit of digital painting and a super idea and design.

HM.  Owen - Walter the Wobot.  T-SHIRT!!

Edit: I'm gonna give you a special man-hug for that Wellsy!

Are you saying his usual stuff is only partially deranged?

Blimey.

Relatively. I am however, entirely enamoured with his work in "Broadcast; The TV Doodles of Henry Flint". My plan is to ambush Henry with a large drawing pad and a bottle of gen-you-wine absinthe, sit him down and ply him with absinthe and rollies until he has filled one whole page with insanity. Then, once all of the brain bending gibber juice is gone and the page is filled, I shall consider our one sided agreement to be at an end and he can cheerfully pass out.

These schemes hardly ever work out as you'd hope though.

Tempted. I did promise Mr.H.Flint that I would ply him with Absinthe to acquire a fully deranged sketch.
