I  bought the Prince of Persia box set a couple of years back. (It contains 3-4 games. I think there has been at least one more since then.)

I decided to play through them in chronological order.  After lining up all this pretty paraphernalia in one room (I forget the specifics but it involve swinging over a chasm and lining up clockworks... um stuff I ended up getting stuck. Theres a bit after that where you have to set off the traps to open a door at the other end (which of course collapses after a time limit) navigating some traps, including ducking under a beam. After lots and lots of tries I lost patience and gave up in the end.

I liked the game a lot though, but those timed trap sequences were soooo irritating. I put it down, intending to return to it later.... and that was it.

As for the sequel games, I've resisted temptation  to try them until I've finished the first. I think I'll give it another go again soon though...

So, too games I haven't played yet! I still have to finish Rogue Trooper too. I couldn't get past the train sequence.

It was the fighting that frustrated me and stopped me playing it through to the end.  And I believe that was 'bigged up' in the later games, so no purchasarino for me.

'Too games' above should read 'two games'.  I'm sure you guessed that but it's embarrassing me that I made that mistake. It's like when I type 'their' when I mean 'there' or 'they're'.  I know the difference and when each should be used, but when I type quickly for some reason my fingers seem to just go into phonetic mode and I miss it somehow until later.
