I put all the names in a hat, and randomly extracted 3 names for myself: John Wagner, Judge Dredd, and Carlos Ezquerra.

I then randomly made up the rules that allowed all 3 of these in any respect!

Well, I've got to fix the rules first.

Anyway, I like the random names idea. But my idea for a points system was to use the appropriate sections of the site to draw up a list of the top 60 writers, top 60 artists, top 60 characters. Those in the top 20 are worth  10 points, those in the middle 20 are worth 5, those in the bottom worth 1 point.

Each player has 16 points. Admittedly that'll leave some odditites like Gerry Finley Day, and Halo Jones in the top 20 and worth 10 points, but it'll also leave some newer droids in the middle section and worth less. People could choose one super strong player and one medium, one weaker, or three medium players... Does that make sense? It's much harder than random names though.

Okay folks the final results are UP!

Everyone who was top in a month gets a prize.
They are then ranked by overall total scores, and the prizes are to be divvied up on a highest score gets first pick basis.

even though we shared the lead for June 2003 i am prepared to step back and allow you the glory since i have everything i would want from the prize list anyway and i also feel a little guilty over being a lurker and not contributing to the online community as much as i would have liked to lately (for shame!).
