DREDD 2: A Fan Poster

Here's a little something I've been working on for a while now - I had the idea for the image and thought it might be a fun little 'what if' type project.

It was also a personal challenge to myself to learn a bit about digital painting, and to do something way out of my comfort zone, that isn't in my usual fallback, goofy drawing style. It's also probably the first big thing I've done that is pretty much 100% digital - aside from a tiny 1x1" thumbnail I scanned in as a starting point, everything was done in Photoshop.

...and because resizing and uploading anything always compresses it to buggery and makes all the details you've been sweating over look like total dogshit, here's some close-up details:

Tremendous stuff.
I've played a little with digital painting and while it has obvious advantages over traditional media, it takes a lot of man hours to iron out the 'computeryness' of the result.
The close-ups prove you've gone the extra mile here. Top quality.
