It would be a joy to see Redondo illustrate a Dredd story one day. To tide me over until the frabjous day when Tharg makes that so, Redondo was kind enough to produce a commission of Dredd and Anderson.

Some pencil sketches, too: Dredd and Anderson, Dredd and Anderson head-shots and a Redondo self-portrait with Dredd.

Liked the interview with Mr Fabry -- seemed a nice down to Earth chap.

(And your first episode was May 14.)

keep up the good work  :)

Crikey, Mangamax -- Mind Wars is "dull, repetitive [and] clichéd rubbish"?  :o  :)

No Star Trooper worth his salt can let such a slur go unchallenged and you are solely responsible for the fanboying blurb that accompanies this page of Mind Wars: http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1188892

I don't know if anybody is still toying with the idea of getting a commission from Mr Redondo but these two Star-Lord sketches arrived in the post this morning:

(And -- and I know that it is a bit off-topic -- there's a Facebook page dedicated to Mr Redondo's art, if anybody had any scans his work or stories about his work to share: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Art-of-Jesus-Redondo/838454839511423 .)

1. Neil McClements - The Mutant -- love the pose and the colouring -- great stuff!

2. james newell - Woofie -- poor, poor Woofie *sniff* -- he looks so proud and happy and loyal and -- *sniff* -- and the visor/cage reflected in the ball: fine touch, sir.

3. DoomBot - Mongrol's Lara -- well-executed idea, Sir/Madam.

I couldn't help myself and requested another commission from Mr Redondo: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1179290

Thanks again to Mr Wiggz.

I received my commission in the post this morning: http://comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1167852

Very, very. very happy with this. Very happy. If Mr Redondo is still taking commissions, I'd definitely recommend requesting one. A true gentleman, he is.

Thanks, also, to Mr Wiggz for being so generous with his time to organise everything. Cracking gent, too.

Mr Redondo also did an additional sketch, too, which was very generous and very unexpected of him: http://comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1167853

Nice episode, chaps.

Re the Dan Dare page, it was published in a fanzine called "Spaceships Away", one of the aims of which was, and still is, to publish new stories using the style, layouts and logos of the 1950s version. Some of the artists who worked on the original Dare -- Don Harley, Keith Watson -- have contributed. High quality stuff. The page that sold must look glorious in the flesh. While trying to have a crafty wank over a copy of H&E he'd got out from under the floorboard on the previous page!  ;)

Your argument is still weak on causation. A lesser poster would hint that you are projecting. I'm not, so I won't. In any event, a cracking page.

Poor old 'Lardy' Bagnell broke his ankle while having a wank in an abandoned house...

Lovely Bradley pages, good sir -- cracking Rupert the Bear parodies.

Love the Ridgeway page, too, but I am reasonably confident he broke his ankle falling down the stairs.
