I've booked my ticket but no accommodation yet. Is anyone interested in sharing a twin or triple for both nights?

Cheers,

Wake

Fuck, I thought this thread was going to be about pens.

Very cheap :Brittania hotel: 92 /2nights

Cheap : Jurys Inn City centre 138 / 2 nights

Expensive Radisson Sas birmingham  244/ 2 nights

This is just a rough guide to what is available at the time.

Not keen on sharing. Who would want to anyway?

People who already know people from the message board, having met them at previous comic book conventions and drunk with them in the bar into the wee small hours.
STRIKE !!!

Who would want to was a bit of a pointless thing to say as i wouldnt contemplate sharing a room with someone i didnt know .Would you?

Just ignore that last bit as i wasnt thinking what i was posting.

I just thought a hotel guide might be of use to someone.

Many times, it's an adventure!

Anecdote:  I once shared a hotel room in Rome with an American carpenter who I met at the Reception desk when all they had left was one double - he was on "workman's comp" at the time, having hurt his foot at work, and was spending this time (you guessed it) hiking around Europe.  Ya gotta love a good scam.

Indeed! Waking up with Al Ewing on one side, Byron Virgo on the other and Dom Reardon on the floor is one of lifes pleasures!

Dudley

Mind you, Rac is known for an "accomodating" manner at comics conventions.

Richmond Clements

I don't know what you mint...err, MEAN.

Bolt-01

Y'know, that was two and a half YEARS ago.

Still funny as well...

Buddy

Wish I could make this... McMahon and Leach in the same room!!!

My head would fall off.

Wake

Accommodation now booked - £60 for two nights in a single room at the Norfolk Hotel. It's a few miles away from the venue, but I think it's on a well served bus route.

Cheers,

Wake
