I'm joined by script droid James Peaty to discuss an overlooked DC book from 1989 by Peter Milligan, Brett Ewins, Steve Dillon and Tom Frame. Along the way we discuss writing and storytelling techniques as well as getting inspiration from the works of James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, and Machiavelli.

Oh wow - fantastic choice. I love this series. Can't wait to get to this one.

Looking forward to this.  I only ever read one issue, and I remember a lot of stuff about James Joyce.  I've since read some Joyce so should probably revisit it.

Really enjoyed the James Peaty one. Some interesting insights from a creator's perspective.

Rogue Judge

Another great episode, I'd heard of it but knew nothing of it. That grail page is a fantastic pick too.

The podcast has gone football crazy agan as Richard Sheaf from http://boysadventurecomics.blogspot.com/ joins me to discuss the many, many ways Billy Dane could lose those magical boots. We also talk about some great British creators, the success of Billy's Boots both home and away, and other classic comics featured on Richard's blog.
