Photo-reffed, but I'm quite happy with the results.

Nice subtle uncomplicated and neat. I like this a lot Jim.

OFFTOPIC: Is it me of does Matt Smith look like the result of a morphing of a few other doctors ? Take one Troughton, dash of Davison and a pinch of Eccleston.

and then whack the result in the face with a shovel....

Nice inks Jim. (But should we be encouraging a letterer to get ideas above his station like a proper artist?)

It's all right, that's in every contract.

There's something fundamentally bloody-minded about the fact that I'm a letterer -- something that's quite hard to explain to non-comic fans when they ask what you do for a living -- who's looking to branch out into inking, probably the only role in the comic creation process that's harder to explain to non-comic fans than bloody lettering.

Don't get me wrong -- I loves me some lettering action, but it never hurts to have an extra thingie to your whatnot.

Cheers!

M.I.K.

I have a sudden craving for cider.

IAMTHESYSTEM

Lovely dark inks on both the Doctor and Boba Fett. The detail on Matt Smith's jacket reminds me of Brian Bollands rendering style.

That's great stuff Jim- mind-bogglingly precise. If only I could ink with a mere fraction of that exactitude!
Just a little rough and tumble, Judge man.
