My mammoth re-read is now in the late 900's.... and boy, i must be down to reading just Dredd and Slaine!!

Can I just stand up and defend Time Flies tho? read back thru some of the posts, and its seems not a lot of people liked this, but i found quite clever and funny.....

With things like t-shirts, I always make a point of avoiding ANYONE in a star trek / star wars / dr who tshirt, as these peopleare normally devoid of anything approaching a personality... (however, i have been known to wear a anthrax 'i am the law' t-shirts, but then i do like the band,.....)

Posters - My brother has my old room at my dad's, and he still has all my posters from tooth on the walls!! I'd love the chance to buy large uncreased prints, like we could in the mid 90's (i bought the bisley slaine set), as long as they wern't emblazoned with 2000ad or megazine, ie, they were just artwork or repros of pages.....

With a view to the currant poll on who should be the next Actor to play the role of the mighty JD does it really matter is in he shouldnt remove his helmet anyway so nobody would be able to identify the overpaid monkey no matter what,probably slighlty late with this one but only just logged on so be gentle

as for football sims, Im waiting for Club football from codemasters - the midlands version is the Villa (Yay!!), its supposed to be club-centric with the players of the particular team digitised and the ground is an accurate version.... so maybe ill see the villa whupping THAT team from Manchester after all......
Hot shot hamish - ended up as i remember, teaming up with the 'hard man' and mighty mouse, one of the last stories i remember is them playing rovers, and beating them.....

its a doomed love story, with A LOT of good songs thrown in fer good measure (apart from ewan singing of course...)
Worth watching only for the dancers doing the can-can to a caberet version of smells like teen spirit... and the duet between ewan and nicole using different lines from love songs....
'sigh' maybe im just a romantic at heart, but it's one of my favourite films of 2001.....

How about an army of Young mothers with toddlers, who havent slept for many nights, and have had to just find a prking space cos everyone has parked in the mother and baby spaces, flanked by sulky teenage girls who have been told they cant go out dressed like THAT, with a cavillry of drunken teenage boys on mopeds, with heavy support from american tourists looking for the local 'traditional' pub?

give me the willies just thinking about it.....
