Peace is a lie, there's only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.

Just hold on there a moment. Day of the Triffids by Arthur Ranson? From where can I purchase such a fine comic? My search-fu is weak.

I know the guy selling these and we can't find any record of where it appeared.  I went as far as e-mailing Arthur himself and he's confirmed that they're his work but can't remember who he did them for or where they appeared... I'd imagine it'd be for junior radio times or look-in or something like that.  They are lovely pages and still much cheapness.

More Ron Turner Dredd loveliness up for grabs - here

Hard to tell from those 2 pages, but they do look a lot like the old BBC visualisation of the book.

Darn, that's a shame. I had hoped I could add it to my Christmas list.  :(
I'm a tucker hot seat trucker and I'm voking cheerio, ten-ten!

You could buy a page! That'd make up for it and you'd be doing my buddy a favour!   ;)

Buttonman

Interestingly the chap in the panel below from a Triffids page showed up in Buttonman - he's one of the voices in Book 1 watching Harry and Karl take on the Welsh lads - wonder if this is Arthur or someone he knows?
