Hi all,

I was wondering if there are others out there planning to take a shot at this ?

Jon

Yeah, I was hoping to... if time allows....

antodonnell

Hi Jon,

Saw your recent work you defo should :) I'm also tempted but I'm gauging my time now. I owe it to my younger self to give it a shot. I thought this board would be heaving with entries in progress.

Jon

Heh, it probably is. Maybe it's not the canny thing to mention it? ;)

I know what you mean, though. I really need to tick "get published in the comic that's partly but significantly responsible for how things turned out for me" off the to-do list.

I like your stuff a lot, I hope you can find the time.

I missed out on it last year because I found out about it too late. Know about it well in advance this year, but I'm unlikely to be able to make a start until October. Still, after a few small press offerings and some forum competitions, four pages isn't quite the daunting task it once was... I hope...

All the best, anyway. No doubt see you in Leeds. :)

LOL

Same boat for me really. I wanted to do comics, studied classical animation, got in game development ....

I kinda got side tracked. I only saw this years announcement thanks to twitter.

Hopefully see you there then :)

I'm going to give it a go. It's a good choice of script as in that it's quite challenging. Most of the action happens in one room (which has to be consistent) and there's a lot design involved. Also, a lot of talking (lizard men) heads to keep interesting.

Good luck with it!

Hi Dan,

All valid points and my first thoughts too. Nothing like a challenge to sharpen up the skills :P I'll post work up once I'm happy to show it.

MenschMaschine

Hi,everyone...I'll be taking part of it,working on this script right now and it's got lots of fun stuff to draw. Great oportunity to get in the prog(for the luckiest bastard of all) but also great oportunity of learning once we'll be queuing with a bunch of blokes and gals with different approache on the same stuff, that's really cool.
Good luck folks!!

Thanks Owen....I'm not sure if I'm mastering the art of ass kicking,I'm able to slap a few butts though.

Bolt-01

I'm really hoping to see a few of these entries. Bruno would be a good match for this, too.

So here it comes, Bolt...I could find  only a single scene from the original  though. I have no idea how it looks like...perhaps better this way...
