do guys have this over there(in the UK).  Activisions new range of games(including Tony Hawks Watsteland, Call Of Duty 2,  Xmen 2 an da whole heap of others) new realeses only A$49.95(whats that in conversion about 15 pound?)b Only on Game Cube though full price for the other 2 consoles.  Glad to see the Cube still has some third party support i thought i was going to have to wait till March for me next Cube game(mmmnn Zelda).

The European Commision has just annooinced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the E.U. rather than German which was the other possibility.  As part of the negotiations, Her Majesty's Government conceded that english spelling has some room for improvment and has accepted a 5-year phase-in plan that would be known as "Euro-English".
In the first year, 's' will replace the soft 'c'. Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy.  The hard 'c' will be dropped in favour of the 'k'.  This should klear up konfusion and keyboards kan have one les letter.
There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome 'ph' is replaced by 'f'.  This will make words like 'fotograf' %20 shorter.
In the 3rd year, publik akseptase of the new spelling kan be expected to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.  Governments will enkorage the removal of double leters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.  Also, al wil agre that the horible mes of the silent 'e' in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

List your favorite one off Stories(not future shock but multi part stories) that you'd like to see more of. I know alot of these would be best left alone but I for one would love to see a follow up to From Grace, not sequal per-say but maybee something set in the same universe.  Another I'd like to see is a true sequal to A Love like Blood, the set up was all there but I'd like to see what has become of our Vampire/Werewolf cross breeds?
What ever happened to Book 2 of Vanguard, first one was all set up and built up some decent characters the paf...no more?

just having a bit of a look over at AICN(I know, I know total hype etc) and came across a review from Harry about a Disney movie called Sky High.  Its about a High school for super hero kids and sidekick and sounds quite entertaining plus its got Bruce Campbell in a decent sized role for the chinned one.  Haven't seen much hype about this one anyone on the Board seen it or know much about it? worth seeing or the usual Harry Knowles hype machine for a couple of $, comparasins to Ghost Busters and Galaxy Quest do it favours in my book.  Damned if I can find veiwable images of the Super heroes anywhere though my Webfu is shit.

its happening again....AAAIIIEEEEEEE!!!!!!

I just went through and sorted all my 2000AD and Megs and to my horror as well as the usual few missing progs that i knew about I found a huge chenk of my Megazines missing too!!!!  this wouldn't be too bad if it was some of the poorer fournightly issues but I seem to of lost all my copies with Preacher in it(now I'm gonna have to bust out for some GN's to complete my Preacher collection), also lost the issues with Scarlet Tracers(searching for this after watching the W.O.W. movies how I discovered this tragedy) and Hellboy, all my Lazarus Churchyard's gone basicly I've lost a whole volume and a bit of the Meg and right around when it was on the upturn too :(.  I just dont understand where these Megs could of got too, I lend out my Tooths sometimes but cant recall ever lending out my Megs?  Anyone out there ever had a similar thing happen, Progs and Megs just dissapearing?

just to let people knopw I will no longer be posting as Krestel and changed my online name to Steamboy in honour of the best Anime I've ever seen.
Anyone into Anime' who hasn't seen this yet see it..phenominal animation(2d and 3d) really cool story(set in 1800's London during the industrial revolution) top voice acting(Anna Paquin, Patrick Stewart and that dude who played Doc Ock). From the director of Akira but don't expect it to be anything like that. If ever an Anime's been made to turn into a live action Hollywood blockbuster this is the one.

Now onto a request, as my Web-fu is feeble might i ask Maxcon if he could procure me an Icon, I'm sure a Google for Steamboy should find something appropriate, if you could just resize and uopload for me,  please Max :)

just found this little bit of info ovewr on Thealienonline. New Alan Moore project coming out thats gonna be using old British Superheroes and characters, names mentioned - Robot Archie, The Claw, Captain Hurricane? now I've never read about any of these characters but I did like Zenith and the article said that some of these character were used by Morrison in Zenith though slightly disguised. Nowe that these characters are coming back in print does it seem even less likely that Zenith will get the full Reprint it deserves(due to copyright infringement?), did Morrison have permision to use the characters when he wrote Zenith, if he didn't where does he get off holding up one of the best 2000AD stories from reprint over ownership issues?

well its that evil old day again, I have no idea why Friday the 13th is listed as an unlucky day, I mean there's a 13th in everymonth how come there not considered unlucky? anyone know how this superstion came about?
My day started great, had a strange cat in my house kicking my kitties ass at 3am this morning. Got up started to walk to work, half way there pissed down with rain. First thing thismorning at work, Arse hole on the phone telling me we've got  to send our serviceman around straight away to look at his Sola Hot water system, didn't understand its not safe to send people climbing on roofs when its raing bloody prick.

one good thing, brought the new Nine Inch Nails CD 'With Teeth' Only had one listen so far last night. I quite like, not as good as Downward Spiral or Fragile seems like Rezi's just treading water for this one.

I know this doesn't mean much to people but I've just discovered a great new way to read Tooth.  First you must know I live in Oz and dont subscribe, our release day is usually Wednesday and I used to go to the newsagents at luch collect my tooth have a flick through at lunch then read it solidly when I get home. Good fun, generally gives me about 1/2 hour of enetertainment, however the last couple of weeks 2000ad has been a couple of days lateI've been picking it up after work not even glancing through it and just waiting as long as possible befor reading it, this sweet torturous wait has so invigorated my sesions that I know get a full 4 or 5 hours thrill power by just holding of on my weekly thrill dose. Proof for me that tooth truelly is an adictive but very [pleasurable drug.

ok, so its not film or TV but god damn is this one hot game, anyone else ouit there played it...opinions?
For the record I'm not a resident evil fan(could never stand the controls) but some how they've made this damn clunky controlling beast play like a dream, and the graphics jeez me best mates PC would have a hard time running this thing even with its $800 256MB video card, itll be interesting to see how this one turns out on the PS2(they reckon its coming but I cant see it looking half this good). I know I'm just raving here but shit, all thiose Halo threads and no ones even mentioned this beast.
Oh god the Quick Time events :) :) :) actually make you want to watch the FMV......
I'll not spoil any of the plot for people here but lets just say its not Zombies and 1000 times better than lame old resi 3.
Just remember people those are REAL TIME graphics used there none of that cheaty pre-rendered shit.
Oh and there's even hand to hand combat in it plus the welcome return of explody heads :)
You must all get this game, you wont be dissapointed
if you dont have a Game Cube get one just for this game its worth it.

this is some crazy shit, but I just heard that an American production company are going to produce a "Sitcom" in the vein of M.A.S.H. set in Iraq. Apparently it will be scripted by the same team that wrote The Golden Girls. I'm not joking this is a true story if I can find a link or more info I'll post it. Anyone else heard about this?

Anyone seen this brilliant little series, really spooky. Its about a travelling Freak Show/Carnival its got freaks , phsycics, The Devil, The right Hand of God, bearded ladies the list goes on. The whole atmnosphere is very Clive Barker charged with a strange sexual energy and general apocalyptic feeling. I know this doesnt tell you much about it but we're only up to the 4th part at the mo and I'm still not %100 sure WTF is going on. Bottom line...if you like Clive Barker you should love this.  Anyone over there seen this yet and if so what do you think? any idea how long it goes for?
