Is the Meltdown Man book complete?  Would like to know if it's worth upgrading from the softcover Rebellion edition.

Yes, it's the whole thing!

Brilliant, I'm going to upgrade!  Thanks!

Cover to #16 is now up on Hatchette's site (Nemesis the Warlock vol.3), but it's different to the one on Forbidden Planet's site.

Issue 84 is 'Blood of Emeralds'.

aside from the case files?

Well, Cursed Earth has only been reprinted about 6 times, I think.  Apocalypse War is a mere 5 times. We've only had 3 tries of Day the Law Died and I think Dredd vs Death is only 4 times.

is there enough Dredd material to stretch to 100 volumes?  Weeelll yes.  That said, if you thought Inferno was bad, wait until you meet Crusade.

I guess I should be more specific... which Judge Dredd stories have not been collected in the Judge Dredd Mega Collection so far...

Anybody like to have a stab at which Judge Dredd stories has not been collected yet from the first say 1000 issues of 2000 AD?  And would there be enough Judge Dredd material to go beyond 90 volumes and up to 100?  Enquiring mind would like to know....

Books & Comics / Marvel Ultimate Graphic Novel Collection
17 February, 2018, 05:12:15 PM
Hatchette are currently producing two versions of the Marvel Ultimate Graphic Novel collection whereby the 2016 series is reprinting the same volumes from the 2011 series, but not in the same order.

Quick question, is the spine art the same for both series or different?

The reason I ask is because #34 (New X-Men Imperial) from the 2011 series is currently OOP, but the same volume New X-Men Imperial is currently available as #36 of the 2016 series. Other volumes are OOP from the 2011 series but available in the 2016 series as different volume numbers.

Should I stay with one series or both?

It's good of them to do this for all customers and not just subscribers.

Well done Hachette!

Same thing happened to one of their Transformers books and they reprinted it at no cost to the customers, so yeah thumbs up to Hatchette!

Books & Comics / Classic Dan Dare Collections
10 February, 2018, 08:09:04 PM
I'm really pleased to see Titan Books reviving their Dan Dare collections after a 6 year gap with the already released 'Mission of the Earthmen' and the upcoming 'Earth Stealers' due in May.  Can we expect a third?

Some of the previous 13 volumes are still in print but the majority are not, and I was wondering if Titan Books plan to re-release some if not all of these volumes.  I have all but one volume and I would love to have a complete collection of these.

Can anyone shed some light to the above queries?  Thanks in advanced!

Ah, I see it now.  It's confusing though because it says 'Volume 3 Born to Kill' at the top of the back cover, while it says 'Chronological Order: 57' at the bottom.  It would have be simpler to put the number on the spine.

That's a real shame.  That's one series I would love in my collection.

Does anyone know what strips are coming after Abc warrior and Rogue trooper?
No idea what 15 is but my records show these to follow:
16   21   Nemesis The Warlock Vol 3
17   55   Zombo
18   29   Slaine 1
19   74   Nikolai Dante 3
20   54   Hewligan's Haircut

Hope you don't mind my asking but how do you find out so far in advanced what's coming?  I'm certainly looking forward to Nemesis vol.3, Zombo and Slaine vol.1, but have no real interest in Nikolai Dante, and I've never read Hewligan's Haircut.  Worth getting..?

My love of Asterix was rekindled recently and I've started to pick up the Omnibus books (which collects 3 stories per omnibus) from Amazon.  Fun stories and quite cheap too.

I'm not too keen on model collections as I wouldn't have the room to display them so I tend to stick to book collections.  One series I'd love to see happening is a Gerry Anderson collection with all those Thunderbirds, Stingray et all stories, so why hasn't this happened yet?
