General / Tales Of Telguuth
18 April, 2002, 08:55:31 PM
Anyone think this'd make a cool published collection? Maybe even tv show. Or is it just me? It's got a kind of twilight zone feel to it and who doesn't enjoy the Twilight Zone?

General / Ron Perlman

it looks like ron's in hellboy which is incredibly cool. but if that's not good enough i've got the sneaking suspician he's our next dredd. how could he not be chosen after all the brown-nosing we've done on the boards?

General / The new editor
27 March, 2002, 04:48:59 AM
No, i opened the latest megazine to see this new so-called editor and was mortified. shit reprints of stories that are in no way obscure - rubbish design, a big stupid advert right in the front, great stories of course but no, this guy has to go. i'm actually considering giving up megging after all these months of being in love with it. i bet we never get to see any more classic ro-busters reprints and i highly doubt we'll be seeing dr and quinch again - highly. the visible man was an amazing story and it displays what ace taste the old guy had. i was starting to think that the old ed was going to reprint the absolutely classic 'escape from high rock' saga but now i've lost all hope of that ever happening. well i suppose when i become an editor and do a better job of it i can complain without being a hypocrite. i was really enjoying ro-busters - i never got a chance to see these stories the first few times round. here's my request - the entire nemesis saga. in full, all ten (ten?) books. i want as much abc warriors tie-in as i can get.

General / shakara
20 January, 2002, 02:57:10 AM
anybody else besides me find it really hard to read shakara and understand what the funt is going on? the artwork, it's not my sort of thing, i can't tell what's happening in the frames. i had the same problem with a lot of nemesis and the abc warriors. can someone please please explain what's happening in this strip. it's the same for the lsd story - only this time it's the plot that's atrocious and hard to understand. please assist because i can't live with only half a helping of weekly thrillpower.

General / Lazarus Churchyard

Umm... what the hell was going on in the last three frames of this month's Lazarus Churchyard? Why did all that blood come out of 'Alli'? I really don't get it... Can anyone help me with that one?

General / Killer

What does everyone think about the new strip, 'Killer'? I think it has the potential to be a really good story but might be wrong. The new meg comes out soon (yes!).

General / Question...
30 October, 2001, 05:34:58 AM
It's time for a really pointless question. Who do you think were the best duo in the history of 2000ad and related comics? I'll start the ball rolling by giving the obvious answer of Sinister Dexter. Anyone remember a while ago when some conveniently similar characters appeared in Nikolai Dante? What a rip off. Anyone remember any other intertextuality or rip-offs? There's another pointless question. Sorry.
