having been an avid reader of 2000ad since issue 1 until john wagner stopped writing dredd for a while, i recently found this web site and thinking about getting back into it, however......i have a burning question which really needs answering, and i'm hoping some of you good ppl on here can help.

Whatever happened to jerry finlay day? Was he ever a real person? Or just just another pen name of messers Grant, Mills or Wagner? Is he still with us? Whats he doing now if he is still with us? Answers on a postcard pls.....

GFD was indeed a real person.
He no longer writes for 2000AD, and i don't know what he's up to at present.
