Really decent prog.

Scarlet Traces had me wishing that the gorgeous double page spread had been on the actual centre

Bloody hell.   Just when I swore I was going to stop paying extra for webshop versions.

That's a very good looking cover.

This turned up today.  Interior looks lovely on nice matt paper.

Not sure about the cover though.  Use's the cover from prog 171, which is fine, but leaves the 2000AD and Tornado logo on, rather than replacing with a Stainless Steel Rat one which I don't think quite works.

Is that Gort Hyman?

That's what I was wondering.

Matt Smith's Deadworld novellas (which are really rather good) hint at a higher power that the sisters serve.

Pye Parr has waltzed on to my list, alongside Ian Gibson and Rian Hughes of "artists who draw droids so in such a gorgeously fun way that they look like stills from an animation".

That's a pretty good list to be on.

That cover is zarjaz, but needs characters eating an ice cream.

Nope, that's the only new content in any of the Titans.     Lovely bit of Kev O'Neil artwork.

Thought this was the strongest regene so far.   Particularly liked S-Club Rogue Trooper.   More of that, please.

This is a very lovely book.   The repro on The Two Torquemada's is a bit muddy in places but I'm guessing that's to do with the quality of whatever source material they had to use.  The colour O'Neil stuff looks fantastic.

I think this must by now be the equivalent of buying an album on vinyl when it first came out, then upgrading to CD, remastered CD, remastered vinyl and then a collectors box set (having sold and then rebought the original vinyl at some point) and having it on mp3.

One thing that does stick out is not updating the creator biographies to acknowledge John Hincklenton and Tony Luke having died.
